a cappella advisory council
In the spring of 2005, nine a cappella groups representing the a cappella community at Washington University in Saint Louis formed a committee to streamline the fall auditions process. This committee, called the A Cappella Advisory Council, has as its primary goals: to make the auditions process as simple, sensible, and orderly as possible, so as to benefit auditionees and the a cappella groups; and to promote a stronger sense of community among the a cappella groups at the university.
To meet these goals, ACAC has implemented a system of auditioning similar to the Greek rush system. For information on this system, please see our procedures page. For a list of important events in the auditions process, and their dates and times, please see our calendar. To contact ACAC with a question or comment, see our contact page. Lastly, if you are interested in an individual a cappella group, you will find an alphabetical listing on our links page.
